Hello,
I am looking at buying a YM2000 in great shape guy says it runs fine on flat ground said going down hill it starts black smoking and stalls said he was pulling a tiller and it started the black smoking and he parked it any ideas what may be wrong with it? Thanks Jason

That sort of thing always makes me think clogging muffler. They will do that when a piece comes loose and blocks the outlet. It is fairly common. I would try removing the muffler and see if it still does it.
