Loss of traction is probably the only thing that has saved your 3ph from destruction. It was not designed for pushing.

Can you post larger photos? I, too, am interested to see how you did it. When I did mine, I built spools, bolted the onto the inner wheel with the lug bolts, then secured the outer wheel with nuts onto the spool's studs. It worked fine, but I didn't like the additional width.

all four wheels are original yanmars, i just flipped middle disks around to get maximum dish on all four. basically mounted just like wheels are on a dually or big truck and installed longer lug bolts...the original bolts worked fine they just dont go all the way thru the axle flange....i dont know about the other size yanmars, but my 2200 is actually pretty light, just grading gravel or pushing limbs up in my burn pile, it just dont get traction in reverse...cant seem to find wheel weights to fit or i would have done that instead. i found the two extra wheels and tires at a scrap yard on another 2200, i tried buying the whole thing but he didnt want to part with it..i just figured what the heck, noone around here where i live has ever seen it done and thinks it pretty darn cool...

If you go to the YM2200 under Tractordata there are a couple of good pictures of the wheels on the 2200. Lot of models wouldn't work back to back like the 2200, mine included.
