Z radiator. Does anyone build them?

I’m in need of a ZTu radiator. I figure anything used I find won’t be usable since they’re all getting older. The radiator shop told me with my current one, the tanks aren’t nice enough to even consider a re-core. Frustrating, but it happens with a restoration.
Does anyone recommend someone reputable who maybe builds aluminum radiators for the Zs?

I think you need to go to another shop for a second opinion. When you read in Antique Power that some of the really old tractors has a radiator made from scratch, it stands to reason that what you have can be fixed somehow by somebody. (Now cost is a different story. That may have been your shop's viewpoint.)

I found a gentleman up north right after I posted this, who has built Z radiators before. Tessman tractor recommended him. The price he gave me to build a new aluminum one is basically the same price I’d pay for a re-core and he said I’d need to UPS him my current one to serve as a blueprint. Will keep the forum posted on this restoration progress
