I have a '48 TE20. Recently the cylinder head cracked between the valves in the #2 cylinder. I have found a replacement that is at the machine shop now. Due to the fact that I had difficult time finding a good one to rebuild, I am hesitant to scrap the cracked head. I have found only one shop around that said he could fix it but started off that he usually only performs that type of repair on Rolls Royse and other such classics. Another way of telling me big $$$. My question is has anyone here had luck pinning a crack in one of these heads?
