Z134 continental engine oil pump replacement

Hello, Can I replace the oil pump on a Z134 Continental engine installed on a MF TO35 gas tractor from underneath by dropping the oil pan or does this require front engine disassembly to replace the oil pump? I'm hoping that I can just remove the oil pan and remove the two pump mounting bolts and replace it from the bottom.

Thank you,

Gary

I am not sure on the 35 engine but the TO20 engine, drop the pan and the pump is held in by the front
crank shaft bolts. My pump set screw backed out, chewed up the inside and the engine got damaged.

Thank you for posting the photo and the info. Pretty sure that's what mine looks like. We had the pan off last year for clutch work and rear seal replacement. Glanced at the oil pump but didn't take a real hard look at it.

Just to mention, it only takes about 10 minutes to drop the oil pan. I drain the oil first, pull the filter cover
then the oil pan screws last.
