There are more options for position control than just the zane thang.

I have plans available if you are at the lest bit handy and want to make it your self. Just e-mail and I will send to you. I think FENA put my article and the plans in the restoration section of their website.

Also, Red Rock Manuf. is making commercially availible the position control I describe in my plans, which is based on the "Equalizier" position control that was available back in the 1950's.

I like this design better than Zane's because it is more compact and dose not stick out like the Thang.

Jeff, I have found a nice plus with the Zane Thang. I attached a knob on the end of the shaft sticking out to the rear and by grabbing that knob, it is very handy to move the lift lever up or down when standing at the rear of the tractor when hooking up implements, etc. I can just bump it a bit to lower the arms about 1/4".
