I bought a Ford 3600 Tractor from my aunt's estate. It has a CAV3233F631 Fuel injector pump that is leaking like crazy. I would like to replace it but cannot seem to find the exact model # replacement. A lot of 3233830 part #'s out there for sale. Is this a compatible unit?

Dieseltech is a regular poster on the forums. He rebuilds injection pumps, tests and calibrates them. I would not recommend you trying to repair it. I suggest using the "Conversation" feature to contact him and follow his instructions on timing the engine, before pump removal. I expect that will be less confusing in the end, than a number of people posting their suggestions.

If you do not have the Operator's and Service manuals for your 3600 you should get copies of those. This site sells a reprint of the Operator's manual and the I&T Shop manual. I would look for a used Ford 3600 Service manual as well. I would not buy a parts book. Learn to use the online ones, part numbers can be handy to use when looking for parts.

Below is a link to the one on Messicks website. It is also on the official MyCNHstore site, however the ones Messicks have posted have many part numbers shown that New Holland deleted a couple years ago as they were NLA from New Holland.

Hello,

I am in search of the service bulletin for Case SC/Dc foot clutches that talks about the finger adjustments. Searching the archives it look like you have a copy Dated July, 13, 1954? Unfortunately the pics in your post are no longer valid so I was wondering if you would be willing to e-mail me a copy. My e-mail is [email protected].
Hi Bob,
I am interested in the book you ordered. Is it readable? Mine is too grainy to read.
also I am in Vancouver, Wa, where are you located if you dont mind saying. Brian-1010c

Any idea what wrench fits the bottom of an injector for a 3 cyl 24 hp? Engine 3TNS82-RA a 16 mm is a tiny bit too big and a 15 too small.

5/8 inch might work. JimKS
Hey cowman79,
Has the tractor you left the Brake Retractor Springs out of had any issues? Would you do it again? My JD 5103 brakes are dragging terrible. I hate to do this job a second time. Thanks for any advice.

Did anyone ever answer your question “what modern regulator to replace outdated one with?” I’m in the same boat. Thanks
I'm starting to restore a John Deere 520 and got the engine running nicely after many years in storage....It has great oil pressure however, no oil coming to the rocker arm and head area. I blew into the line in reverse and it seems to be blowing in to the crankcase or open to somewhere inside the engine. Is there another end to this gallery that can come apart inside the engine somewhere?? Any ideas for me??
Ford 841 gasoline tractor with high oil pressure (80 PSI) at purchase.

I've replaced the oil gauge, oil sensing unit, oil filter, valve cover gasket and changed oil. Oil pressure remains 80 Psi.. Engine runs well enough but symptoms are "small" oil leaks . But a leak is a leak.
. Any ideas?

Is there perhaps a stuck pressure relief valve in the block somewhere? I restored an ancient Cockshutt 80 that woiuld blow the filter can seal on anything over idel and I had to take apart the entire engine to get that little thing unstuck...ie rusted in tight so the spring couldn't do its job.
Looking at info on Massey Harris Vise..... See images of pipe holding inserts and drill press attachment.... Anyone have a description of original attachments for M H vise?
Hello Buzz, I just saw your post of April, 2024 regarding having an aux transmission. If you still have that, how much are you asking for it? I just bought a Model D #3789, WD-45 with power steering, cab, power leaning wheels, power circle, 12 ft blade. I don't I don't know how difficult it would be to swap one out but it's worth considering. Having that lover speed would be nice.
I would like to sell my 270 Massey Ferguson tractor on this site. How do I do that?

Go to the Site Comment forum section then ask there. Or when there search for what you seek.
Posting to a users profile page is often not looked at.
