THANK YOU for the confirmation! I have no tension on the cable, and it's fully extended, so "assume" it is unhooked in the coil housing, or coil spring is broken. Seem reasonable? I plan to remove the housing, repair accordingly. My next broken project is the PTO shift lever on left side of counsel is broken-off.

Those came in several different configurations. We owned a model 60 for about 15 years and used it for daily silage feeding. I think a neighbor still has it. A auger style was also made but we never had one. Someone should have some photos,
Trying to find out year and exact model for this tractor. It's an International Harvester H I believe but Im not sure. It was a gift to my mother 30 years ago. I remember riding it as a kid. Its been exposed to New England weather so is clearly in rough condition. Maybe restore the bare minimum to working condition. Could anyone identify this or whether theres a chance of bringing it back to life?

I see that someone else send you a message so I thought that I would also. I've had Britts since 1976 and have tried to keep one from a litter to keep the same bloodline as much as possible. This pup is a granddaughter to my 13 year old female and a cousin to my 4 year old male. This is my 11th Britt and probably because of age my last. She should be ready to find roosters and sharptail this fall. Tom in Mn.
