Gday Norman, I was perusing YT for manual or parts for my Ford LGT 145 and kept coming up empty, are these no longer available
New to site, posted a request for help with starter on 53 Ford Jubilee, not sure if it went through. Got message to update my status?
Trying to replace starter on 53 Ford Jubilee, Starter shaft is stuck, tried twisting the starter around, no luck, any suggestions?

Hi
I saw your response in a thread from a few years ago where you modified the filter base for the newer filter.
I was wondering how you modified it. I assume you have access to a lathe for the cap, but what did you have to change to the filter base? Also, where did you get the rest of the material like the longer bolt and spring, etc.?
I found a messick's diagram which shows both. See next message.
