Will a 630 case wide front fit on a ji case 400 tractor?

I would think an 700B/800B or a 730 wide front would be a better choice.

Those are different. The round nose 400 takes the larger front from anything from the 400 to the 1030. The later fronts with the pipe rear brace rather than angle iron brace turn sharper. The fronts from the 9/1030 are a bit heavier duty as well, but all are very durable
