Carburetor 1952 Supet C International

I would like to know what carburetor is used on my k Supet C . O-653 is number on throat of carburetor. Ordered a carburetor from Amazon would not work

If you keep scrolling down until you get to International Harvester, it lists a Model 11704 beginning in 1954 for the 123 engine and a replacement Model 14007. There isn't a listing for 1952. Was the mounting bolt hole spacing the problem? I bought a few used ones where that was the problem.

I just ordered a $319 carburetor from Amazon for my Supet C , I think it is a zenith sold by JJ parts, Has anyone used one of theses?

$300+. ???? We have several Amazon carbs on super A ,A ,and a C.......they cost around $30 , yes, Thirty bucks. They work flawlessly. Sometimes more money doesn't mean better . They are all probably made in the same factory in China.

Trouble with the $30 carbs is that the air inlet is not the right size for a Super. May be other problems, too.

Strangely they work fine for us......but we understand that the carburetor is a small piece of a great running tractor.

Don’t scrap old carburetor , with a kit and some attention to make fuel passages clean it will work fine again.
Or send it to Grandpa, he fixes them right up.

Ya fix what you have . don't relay on what is on the internet . Gess the old carbs are not rocket science . 99% of the time a new neddel and seat and two gskt and a hot tub soak in REAL carb cleaner and a bath in hot Dawn dish soap and a cold water rinse and compressed air dry does the job . good grief i have been doing carbs since Hector was a pup and he died 50 years ago.
