Your Ferguson has a made in England Engine "Standard Engine".....thus the tractor ....."Model TEA-20."

The rear Rims are quite likely off a MF 35 Tractor.......24" Rims????

Any Ferguson TEA-20's in my neck of the woods has 28" ream Rims.

How did you verify this Tractor has a Hi /Low........?

Yes , your Tractor appears to has some make of an after market auxiliary transmission .

A Sherman Auxiliary Transmission??

A Howard Auxiliary Transmission???

How did you verify this Tractor has a Hi /Low........?

Hood says "Ferguson 35 Deluxe"????? If correct, that would explain the hi/lo, wouldn't it?
The Tractor in question, in the picture, Tin was quite likely painted Ferguson Gray originally.

At some point in time, this tractor experienced "Previous Owner Syndrome"..... paint Job and possibly a HOOD SWAP/DECALS....

Ferguson TEA-20's left the factory with a FOUR SPEED GEAR BOX,and a ONE PIECE CAST ALUMINUM Transmission Cover /Steering column ,and a Standard Engine all manufactured in England. ........NOTE GSW PICTURES

HI/LO Ferguson Transmissions that I have experienced, have TWO leavers attached to the Transmission cover, with a THREE SPEED GEAR BOX (and a HI/LO planetary integrated inside the Transmission.

GSW tractor picture is possibly a Frankenstein.

In the second picture you can see the shift for the auxiliary transmission on the right side of the bell housing. I have a Sherman in my TO-30, its shifter is on the left side, this is another brand, maybe Howard?. It was added either by the dealer who sold the tractor or some previous owner. A nice addition, it gives the operator lots of speed options from very slow to very fast. Downside is it changes the PTO speed in the same ratio as ground speed so it doesn't help with operations like tilling.

Yes it is lol. It has a Sherman lever,I believe. It makes a difference with speed. Nice in the woods.

Yes a Sherman? I don't know. But ,it works great.

Not a Sherman. There were a number of manufacturers of auxiliary transmissions for Ferguson and Ford tractors of that era. Sherman was the most popular in the US, but Howard, A&I, and others also manufactured specialty units of various sorts. Post the picture with the shifter in the '8N Ford forum' here and someone will tell you what brand it is.

First time ever seeing a TE 20 with an external oil filter.
That engine is "NOT" the engine in a TE20.....

That engine ( "Standard) is in a TEA-20, manufactured in Coventry England.........And yest the TEA-20 has an external Oil filter housing..
As per below info.
