Putting that ChatGPT to work huh 🤔 lol just messing but I'm not too used to diesels but that does make some sense. The only thing is when I try looking up the injection timing all I can find is really just this one old forum thats say 31 BTDC. I feel like the best way to get it timed is by having someone with a running 930 line up their pump and take a picture of which mark on the pulley is lined up with the pointer. set the timing at 31 degrees. If you set it at tdc it will not have any power. If you don`t like 31 go towards 35. 31 will give the best combination of power and starting. Stan

Yeah I figured it was 31, and just to confirm where it says 35 on the pulley i go 4 marks in and set it there right? I mean if thats not entirely right it would still be 30 or 32 which isn't entirely spec but would get it running
 
If you got it to 30-32 deg you would never know the difference if at 31. When I put Turbos on 830s i Bump the timing out to 35 and give it a few more RPMs . The downside is harder cold starting but it wakes em up HP wise.
