    Button or fiber clutch? 4020 synchro

    Try to get kevlar linings. Look like a green fuzzy tennis ball. Engage as smooth as silk and suppose to outlast fiber by four times. I have them in 4020 and a 3020 and they are nice and smooth......Ron

    JDE 69 Injector Wrench

    Yes I looked it up and going to order one plus a shirt with lots of pockets. JD manual says 35 ft lbs torque and never-seize. Wonder if that happened last time they were removed. Probably 135 ft lbs now. Hope that is all that is the problem. Thank you for the replies.....Ron

    I would like to remove the Robert Bosch injectors from my 7520 JD tractor. They have the 12 point nuts at the bottom of the injector to push them out or pull them in. I have used a box end wrench on my 4230 as the injector was round after removing the leak off pipe. Only thing with these...

    Turbo Failure?

    It started with a leaking injector line. Cleaned pump and injector with brake cleaner and air a couple of times, removed the alternator and leak-off line and changed the line. Started normally and I used it for a hour or so. Checked the line changed as something sounded a little different...

    How do I replace pencil injectors on a 4020?

    Use a penetrating oil and twist them back and forth some before trying to pry them out. When replacing, coat with never-seize. Also change all plastic leak-off tees and boots with new ones.When disturbed they will not last. Hope this helps......Ron

    1969 4020 diesel side console C model injector pump

    So my engine serial is 136281 and according to JDparts takes the newer cb pump. So that pump should be a 2401 or 2722 with the 1.816 pilot? I'll check the number with my remote camera when it warms a bit. Minus 5 daytime temperature today. Will all JDB pumps with the 1.816 neck for 4 cylinders...
