    Thanks Jim.ME I really respect your input on all things tractor related on the forum . The tractor runs as is but the coil gets very hot . I will get the resister you mentioned and install .

    I have a MH Pacer that has been converted to 12 volts , the coil on it is 12v and says external resistor required . I don see any resistor on it. Is the part #140520 on YT what I need to supply power to the 6v distributor , Thanks

    Tom , I went through the same thing on my Pony , I got several of the "square" o rings , stopped my hydraulic leak so far . I can send you a couple .
