    Radiant heat system question

    In my opinion it sounds like a few of the zone valves have gone bad . the end switches go bad all the time. You should have heating contractor come in and check end switches to make sure they all work and change as needed. hope this helps. Been reading site for a few years try to help as...

    toilet not flushing properly

    plugged sewer. When you flush do you hear gurgling in sink or tub if so plugged sewer if they are on same line. possible something in toilet, but sounds like sewer. Had same problem with 4 cust. past two weeks.

    old 3 hole brackets were made from cast iron you should be able to get them from a plumbing company or supply house if you have one around. if brackets hold sink loose from wall just take copper smash flat set it on brscket as shims and this will make sink tight to wall. you should have 3 or 4...

    Your catch basin seems small. I make them deeper to catch debris that gets washed into them. why 8in. outlet unless you expect a lot of runoff. Most times 4-6in. outlet with tee in catch basin to keep debris in basin so it doesn't plug outlet pipe. Where is piping going to?

    jakinot has it right. food coloring in tank this color should transfer to bowl thru leak.Check 2 things 1 fill tube should only insert into overflow in tank at most 1/2 inch. 2 flapper in tank should have slack in chain if not it will leak. Water level in tank should be appox. 3/4 in. below...

    One other idea, some toilets have a hole at front bottom of bowl this is a siphon jet hole this hole must be open about size small finger. clean out this hole will help toilet flush.

    Cool water in the morning

    Bad thermostat. If dip tube was bad you would never get hot water. I have sometimes for cust. just moved setting a little bit and this sometimes makes thermostat work normal. give this a try first it just might work.
