Yes it was definitely a bright spark, had no problem jumping to the engine block. -

Tested as you said and did not start. I went with a spark plug right off the coil and the spark was definitely present. Besides a faulty electronic ignition, what should I look at in the distributor? -

Sorry for the delay. If I remove the red wire it will no longer crank. When I put the yellow wire to the battery It doesn't start. The battery is fully charged. I am getting a good 3.5 ohms in between the pos and neg on the coil. -

It was removed, because it all had to be replaced anyway. Since it isn't on wheels didn't put a new one in. -

I don't have a test light. There is power at the plus side of the coil in the run position. -

It cranks, but I can't get a spark. As far as the solenoid I couldn't say, it's the one that was on the tractor when I bought it. And it ran when I bought it. -

Hoping someone can tell me if anything looks wrong on this setup, so I can figure out why I am not getting a spark. I get the starter to crank, and the engine turns, there just isn't spark. It is converted to 12V and the points and condenser were replaced with an electronic ignition. Has new... -
