    60 upper water pipe seals

My 60 is leaking coolant at the upper water pipe seals where the pipe joins into the castings. Is there just an o-ring in there? Does anyone know the size off hand? Also looking for a brake pedal for a left hand side of a 60 high seat standard. Part number is AA6185R

    60 fan shaft shims

The front support for the fan shaft on my 60 has been broken and rewelded by the previous owner. I cleaned it up and it looks good now but Im wondering about the height. In the manual it says not to disturb the washers (used as shims I assume) that are under it. There weren't any under this one...

60 high seat front tire size

I am fixing up a 60 high seat standard that has a 6 x 16 tire on the one side and a 6.50 x 16 on the other side. They both look way to small to me. What should it have? 7.50 x 16, or I can go to a 18" rim as well. I have an extra set here. Then I can go to a 7.50 x 18. What are you guys...

    3020 syncro again-now I've done it?

Ive had that once. I just got rammy and kept jamming back and forth in the direction where it should go and it came free. Someone was on there that didn't know how to shift it and got it stuck in a couple different gears

    no. 5 mower parts.

Hi, I just bought a no.5 mower at an auction sale. I didn't have any time to check it over before I bought it but it looked complete and I only paid 75 for it. But after I got it home I realized the cast part (Z971-H) that holds the cutter bar on was broken and rewelded but that didn't last...

    820 clutch leaking oil, update

Im talking about the gear that gets turned by the crankshaft/clutch gear. Its the biggest gear in that cover. My tranny was a bit above the full plug but nowhere near what it would have to be for oil to come out at the pulley. There was a bit of a bend on the front edge of the dust cover. Im...

    820 clutch leaking oil, update

The levels are within reason. engine oil is above the add mark and the tranny isn"t too full. I have it apart and it doesn"t seem to be leaking at the crankshaft seal.

    820 clutch leaking oil, update

I know the crankshaft is the shaft there. Im referring to the one that slides over that. the engine seal seams to be fine. Even if the seal is bad, the excess oil shouldn"t stay in the reduction cover but it will flow back in the tranny right?

20 inches would be fine if you straddle 4 rows, so that would be 80inches on center

    820 clutch leaking oil, update

Ok, as I said in a previous post, my 2 cyl 820 is leaking oil at the clutch. I took it all apart and the oil slinger grooves were clean and the drain hole at the bottom is clear. The oil slinger is a bit worn down and the dust shield is a bit worn down as well. They don't seem to be available...

4455 piowershift, no clutch pressure when cold

There is almost 400 hours since the hyd oil and filters were done. The pump Im not sure about. But it pumps it when it is warm. Normally if a pump is going bad it will work better when it is cold, or am I mistaken?

4455 piowershift, no clutch pressure when cold

We have a john deere 4455 powershift that doesn't drive when its cold. It will slowly creep ahead and the brakes easy stop it. Checked the main pressure and it doesn't move the gauge when its cold. When its warm, it gets full psi and it drives no problem. When its warm the brakes will stall the...

    820 clutch leaking oil

I have a problem with a wee bit of oil seeping out of somewhere either inside the clutch or running along the outside and getting flung around by the belt pulley. The pulley is a bit wet on the engine side but the clutch is completely dry when I took the cover plate off the end of the pulley. So...
