    Thank you. I was told that the electronic ignition was only for a 12 volt system. Glad to know I can used it for my original '48 8N 6 volt system.

    4 (four) front mount gaskets come in the pkg for my '48 8N distributor. Where does the "Cap Gasket" go? (The thin-narrow round one). I tried to add it to the distributor but then it wouldn't let the cap seat to the distributor body (Where the points and condenser are.).

    I tried all most everything to get my 8N to start after 6 months of sitting outside. New points, Condenser ...gap set right. Check for spark...OK, checks fuel to carb...good flow. Checked fuel screens...Good. Yes...key was on! Amp meter showed alive. Sparkie wires new. SO WHAT ELSE...

    Carburetor re-build question

    Rebuilding my Marvel-Schebler TSX series carburetor. Which way does the VENTURI go into the body? I checked my FO-4 Manual but cannot tell from text or photos. (See Fig. FO51, pg. 40) One end of the VENTURI is flat ring and the other a trumpet shape.
