    Help with IH10 Semi Mount

Do you know how the holes correlate to the planting depth? I'd rather not buy another manual if I don't need to.

    Help with IH10 Semi Mount

I need some help with the operation of a grain drill I just purchased. I bought the manual and nowhere in there does it mention a #10 semi mount and I also don't see where you adjust the planting depth. I think I may have it figured out but I'd like to hear from someone who knows from use. I...

    Cole fertilizer sidedresser

I'm skeptical that they mount the same the drop tubes come out at a completely different place and if I mount it the same way as a covington then the funnel for the drop tubes is going to hit the cultivator frame.

    Cole fertilizer sidedresser

Does anyone have a pic of the proper way to mount a ground driven Cole sidedresser to a Pittsburgh cultivator frame? I just can't see a good way to mount it up studying it.

    Time to buy some planters

So I'm about ready to drop some hard earned cash on a set of planters and I only want to do this once. I'm hung up between a set of Covingtons or one of the 71 Flex clones. I really like the Covingtons for the fertilizer distributor and because they are made right here in my home state but...

I need a lesson on sickle bar mowers

I need a lesson on sickle bar mowers

Not sure what you want, but: Take blade out and sharpen the knife sections, gently, don't heat the knife or take off much metal, just enough to get the knife sharp. Use a 4 inch side grinder, if you don't have one they are cheap at Harbor Freight and should stand up to light use...

I need a lesson on sickle bar mowers

I need some education on sickle bar mowers and setting them up for rough mowing. I think there are different guard styles and blades for different tasks correct me if I'm off. I have an old IH 1300 I want to tune up for mowing ditches and around my pond edges. Here are a few shots of what I have.

    John Deer 71s

Are JD71s all that and a bag of chips? Reason I ask is I have been wanting a set for sometime now but I don't want to spend all my money and be dissapppinted. Right now I am using a set of old Cole Duplex planters that were free to a good home, my uses are 2 acres of garden and planting dove...

    Lift stuck up

So much to my surprise it does seem to be a hydraulic problem. I got pa to come over after work and he lifted up on the plows while I pulled the pins out of the lift arms. I then pulled all the bolts out of the top cover including the ones in the transfer plate. Whenever I broke the ones loose...
