    John Deere B Clutch

    Hello I am currently working on my 1946 John Deere B and the clutch i adjusted and it snaps in and out nicely but the clutch continues to stay engaged and spin. But like I said it snaps in and out good. Does anyone have suggestions on what i should replace. Discs? Thanks!!

    John deere B first gear reduction noise

    No the cover is not pulled There is some play around the bearing that goes into the cover. But the bearing still turns fine. I cant get the cover off though do youhave any tricks to remove it, it seems like the bearing will not come off of the shaft i have the outside snap ring removed too. Thanks!!

    John Deere B Noise

    Well I got it tore apart and the first reduction gear is not loose on the shaft but it has play front to back and around the bearing in the case. Do you have any suggestions on what to do next. Thanks!

    Hello,I recently bought a John Deere B and the serial tag is hard to read. It is a long hood tractor. It also has the cast "belly" underneath in between the frame rails, it in not open. Does anyone have any idea what year or are there any other marks to tell what year it is?Thanks
