    Hi Disconnect the carb rod. Does the governor still bind up or act like its not working? Did you do any adjustment to the bumper spring adjusting screw?

    Timing marks are on the flywheel. Inspection hole on left side of engine by flywheel. Thats where you can see timing marks on flywheel.

    I would replace u-joints. I had it happen on a Dodge pick-up truck. One of the u-joints was bad, no grease.

    Sorry, now that I thought about it, you need the longer setting, tipping the plow share into the ground.

    If your plow share is sharp, then your depth adjustment needs to be changed. You should have an ajustment bar under your right side brake pedal. If I remember, you have to use the shortest setting. This should bring the front of your plow up.

    Best to take it to a starter shop. They would have to unsolder the bolt from the connection on the inside of starter. They would have new bolt.

    Best to take it to a starter shop. The bolt is soldered to connections on the inside of starter.
