The tractor was this way when I got it, the fellow told me it always had to be jumped when started. Battery was always drained, checked voltage and it has never been charging. So I’m trying to get it wired right. -

Got a 640 an trying to get the wiring lined out and jus can’t get it. Have a one wire alt, built in resistor coil with a 4 post spring loaded ignition key switch. Is there a step by step pictorial diagram on how to do this? I’m literally starting from scratch and patience is growing thin! -

Need to purchase upper end gaskets for the 640. Anybody have good recommendations? Prefer quality cry once do it right the first time. I do purchase a lot from the on site store but don’t want to cut back on this an will consider the store. I’ve been a fel pro gasket guy for yrs....good quality... -

Fuel cap....
Got a 640 Ford an it definitely has the wrong cap on it. It’s a diesel fuel cap and it doesn’t screw down tight an rattles....makes a LOT of noise! This is for a 134 engine, does it require a vented or a non vented cap? Don’t wanna order the wrong one. TIA -
