    case sc oil

I have a case sc that has been sitting in a barn for about 8 years or so and I decided I needed another tractor and decided to get it operational again. It wasn't to hard to get it running again but I wanted to change the fluids in it after sitting so long. I'm wondering what is recommended for...

    farmall 460 hydraulics

I don’t think so the filter was replaced recently and the oil is full when I took it apart the second time it had oil in the valve so it gets there just not building pressure I’ll need to take it back apart and see if I can figure out if the relief valve is indeed stuck

    Farmall 560 clicking wheel

As stated it sounds like the bolts attaching the wheel to the axle. I've had the same issue in the past. I would take the weight off the wheel and remove the bolts and clean and perhaps add a washer if you think they may be bottoming out and when tightening them use a impact or a breaker bar...

    farmall 460 hydraulics

Thanks, it seems the valve is stuck and not letting it build pressure, is there a way to get it out? I am thinking about leaving the spring out and starting the tractor to see if it will push it against the cover

    farmall 460 hydraulics

Forgot to mention when I first put it together the big spring wouldn’t compress enough so I took the cap off and turned the piston a little and it dropped in further and things went together as they should now the piston is tight and I can’t get it out where before it would slide out

    farmall 460 hydraulics

    farmall 460 hydraulics

Following up on an earlier post regarding hydraulics on my 460. I have taken the regulator/safety valve off to clean and check the screen, when I reassembled and installed I had no hydraulics at all. I assumed I had assembled something incorrectly so took it back off and disassembled again...

    460 relief valve

I probably would of figured that out if I had been able to get the unloader valve apart as that one is pretty big I was able to take the screen out and looks like somebody already removed that ball anyway I cleaned everything up and put back together and reinstalled but now have no hydraulics at...

    460 relief valve

Thanks I've got one of those already but the blade is maybe 3/8 at best and the ball is about the same size so I don't think it will catch enough of the edges to work I've ground down a 7/8 cold chisel to fit the slot but can't turn it with a wrench on it

    460 relief valve

    460 relief valve

I have been having issues with the tractor always being under load and have decided it is most likely the screen in the relief valve I have pulled the valve body off and taken it apart but have been unable to unscrew the seat I have taken a chisel and ground it down to make a tool but it still...
