    1944 B Oil Return from Cylinder Head

    All the John Deere 2 cylinder tractor have an opening where yours is plugged that lets the oil travel thru the block back to crankcase.I know my 1952 G does. Is that some kind of valve that when the valve cover is installed that is forced open and let oil return to crankcase?

    Have you tried running Windows Defender?Go to control panel and click on it to run microsofts version of virus protection.Takes quite a while for the full scan to run.I have mine set to run when ever I am on the computer.

    My mother told me that they were wild mustangs and that it took 6 men to control them while breaking them for work.I think my father spent a lot of time resting them.I know as a small child in the early 30's they were prone to biting and kicking. The big draft horses had a more gentle temperament.
