    john deere m steering

So I have a M that I have replaced the steering ballast from another M. My problem is now my steering is backwards. When I turn the steering wheel right the wheels go left, and vise versa. Do I need to reposition the worm gear, or has anyone faced this problem before? Thanks for the help.

    john deere baler re chamber

So I have a 466 John Deere baler that makes a 16x18 bale. I would like to see if I could rechamber the chamber and make it make a 14x18 bale. I did this by bolting in 1"x3" tubing in the inside on top and bottom through the whole bale chamber. Went and tried it out and it still popped out a...

    2510 hydraulic problem

So pressure with valve in jumped from 1500-2500lbs. Would not stay constant. Took the priority valve out and pressure ran at a constant 1500llbs. With the valve out 3 point worked smoothly as well as the other outlet. Everything seemed to work as it should other than the lower pressure. What...

    2510 hydraulic problem

So I forgot to mention that this is a synchro tractor. I also did put a pressure gauge on the scv and it would top out at 2300 psi, but was always fluctuating and never held it constant, and when the tractor was throttled up it would drop.

    2510 hydraulic problem

So I recently brought home a 2510 that I thought was a diamond in the rough. When I got her home and got her running I found a hydraulic problem I can"t solve. So I have changed the hydraulic filter and cleaned out the sump screen, refilled with new oil. When it is running at an idle the three...

john deere 60 power steering issue

I just came across a 60 at a junkyard with manual steering. How big of a job to switch those out? I really don?t want to tear deep into it.

john deere 60 power steering issue

Im working on a 60 that is giving me some fits. The power steering will lock up occasionally when turning and it is not very predictable. Ive tried loosening the screw on the control valve, and that seemed to help a little, but it still locks up, and takes a few bumps the other way to loosen it...

    116w baler

I recently picked up an old 116w baler that was half way restored. I need two new clutch discs that go on the flywheel, and have exhausted all my resources trying to find some.Anybody have any suggestions as to where one could find some or have someone special make them. They are similar to the...

    John deere b transmission noise

I have a 47 b that started making some noise in the tranny when it would be in gears on the right side of the shift column. I believe it is 1,4 and 2nd gears. It only happens in those gears. So I decided to tear it down and find the problem thinking a bearing would be shot. But the bearings look...

    4020 value

I know this has probably been talked about a 100 times on here, but here it goes again. I am looking at buying a 4020. I believe it is an early model as the hydraulic controls are on the dash. It is an open station with decent fenders. Sheet metal is fairly straight, but paint is all gone. Tires...

    47 b hydraulic outlet

I recently acquired a 47 b. I want to put pioneer style fittings on so that I can use it with some of my implements. It has the original plugs that screw in, and I've seen where there are those same style plugs that you switch out that have a way to thread an outlet on, but I don't have those...
