    230 broken choke

Been having trouble starting our 230 since its getting colder so figured i"d investigate. Turns out the rod that goes through the carb that holds the round butterfly valve is snapped. I have yet to figure our how it has happened because its never pulled anywhere close to hard before but anyway...

    806 and 735 plow

We use a 5-16 behind our 806 or 766, they will both pull it in low 4th in sod but the 806 runs better with it, more low end grunt it seems for if you hit a hard spot. soil here in pa can be pretty rocky too.

interested in an f-12 pa residents?

Saw this add on craigslist this evening, had to share with everyone, it seems good to me, heck i don't have time for another project but i thought about buying it to set aside for down the road. I don't know much about these older tractors but seems like a very fair price to me. 1935 f 12

anyone seen a loose bale wagon?

My dad has lost a wagon or two in the past with a similar situation, what we do is place a bolt in upside down, on top goes the washer, nut, then safety pin in a drilled hole, you'll never lose one of them! We also do that with our discbine and rotary mower, all the loose underneath has a habit...

1949 M Gallops at high speed

We have a 706 with no fluid in in the rear but it has one piece wheel weights. The tractor always rode super smooth but was gradually getting a bounce to it, at first it seemed like some broken cords in the tire because there was no wobble following it. It continued to get worse but what ended...

    1466 questions

Yea I was talking about the cast rear centers. I know I have seen a lot of 1086's with only the 6 oppenings but most every other tractor i've seen was the 12 opening cast centers and this one has one of each. The 2 12v batteries makes sense to me but our 766 and 806 are both the 2 long 6 volts...

    1466 questions

I recently bought a non-running 1466 as a project and is my first tractor of my own. We have a 766 but there are quite a few differences between them and i'm trying to figure out some of the original's of this 1466. It currently has different rears on it, the right has the 12 hole center wedge...
