    I have a 1951 farmall M and it will crank and ocassionaly fire but it wont stay running, it has gas and I took the carb apart and cleaned it. Sometimes after cranking exhaust gas comes out the air cleaner. A couple times it even backfired out the exhaust. Im clueless as what to do. After it...

    ive got an la case that i got pretty cheap and is in good shap however there is a hairline crak in the transmission on the bottom side. will it be ok as long as i seal it up somehow? sealing brazeing etc?
