Serious Opinion Needed
Water Glass. Sodium carbonate or something like that. I have heard the older folks talk about that and had some at one time. I think it can be bought at drug stores. That was a lot of years ago.- B Bair

head gasket-metal or soft?
I changed mine a while back. I used the metal gasket sprayed with copperkote. Pretty new to the fords. It must have been suggested on this board to do it this way. Been maybe 4 or 5 months now and have had no problems.- B Bair

proofmeter
52 8n side dist. 12 volt. Has any of you had any experiance with the aftermarket 8.00 proofmeters? The tractor had one but no cable. I bought the cable and the proofmeter didnt work. oil Filter and hopefully the last pictures of snowplowing.
Plowing the drifts today and when I got back to the shop I noticed a lot of oil drips on the floor. Tracked it down to the bolt on top the oil filter leaking. OT wood heat
See a lot of guys on here cut , split or haul wood with thir tractors. Do any of you use an outdoor wood furnace (boiler) to heat house,water and shop? How to keep from plowing up gravel with snow removal?
Ron, made these for my front blade. Last year digging up the drive, this year leaving maybe an inch of snow on the drive. I am pretty happy with them and wont have to rake the stones out of the yard in the spring if it ever gets here. Seems like it would work on a back blade also...- B Bair

8N missing resolved.
Thanks guys for your input. Charged battery up good and wrap tin foil around the carb and exhaust manifold. Work her hard this morning clearing the drifts and not one sputter. Thanks again.- B Bair
