    Water Glass. Sodium carbonate or something like that. I have heard the older folks talk about that and had some at one time. I think it can be bought at drug stores. That was a lot of years ago.

    head gasket-metal or soft?

    I changed mine a while back. I used the metal gasket sprayed with copperkote. Pretty new to the fords. It must have been suggested on this board to do it this way. Been maybe 4 or 5 months now and have had no problems.

    How to keep from plowing up gravel with snow removal?

    8N missing resolved.

    Thanks guys for your input. Charged battery up good and wrap tin foil around the carb and exhaust manifold. Work her hard this morning clearing the drifts and not one sputter. Thanks again.
