    another quick question now that mu 840 is running.

    Oil pressure. The guage is bad and I want to make sure I have oil flowing. I took the filter off and cranked it. Oil shot out with good pressure from a small hole into the filter (or where the filter would be) . I presume it then flows through the filter and on through the big hole in the middle...

    Thaks So the wiring on the alt as it is pictured is wrong? Also, if I read your reply right, the terminal on the points connects to the small coil wire entering the dist and the resistor in the dist? What do I keep reading about just cutting one of the small gray wires ane leaving it be or...
