The engine is all reassembled except for the top and side covers so that I can see the oil flowing. I rebuilt a '58 641 several years and did the same maneuver with the oil pump. The oil flowed steady through the rocker arms and no gurgling from the oil pump. I didn't have to do anything extra... -

Ford 641 stuck clutch
I unbolted the pressure plate. I put the come-a-long on the tractor and the pressure plate seperated from the flywheel about 1/2 inch and it won't move any further. It seems to be holding on the right side around the hydraulic pump but I've tried prying it and it won't move. What do you suggest... -

I have only used the PB-Blaster on the spline area of the clutch disk. That seems to be where it is frozen, the clutch disk should slide forward on the spline and does not. I don"t understand if I remove the pressure plate, will the clutch disk then slide be able to slide forward on the spline... -
