    rebuilds don't last in 429 ?

The must important thing on AC engine life is oil change intervals. They have a true full flow oil filtration system. That means, all the oil from the oil pump goes through the filters first then to the pressure regulator. That means the filters start to clog very fast & the filter bypass is open...

    WD45 oil pressure relief valve

The real oil pressure is about 30psi checked by removing the tee in the block and installing a gauge. That"s the only way to get a accurate reading. The gauge at the filter only check the resistance in the filter.

    OT Duramax performance

The first thing I would do is change the fuel filter, but don't get a WIX or a WIX made filter. They have way to much restriction.

    WD Oil Pressure Relief Valve

Remove the fitting in the block, install a gauge & start the engine, this is the true oil pressure, it should be about 30psi max at 1200 rpms, worm.

    head-gasket blowing 8640

The sleeves are not even or straight, by that I mean they are low on one side and high on the other. I guess the block was machined wrong from the factory. How the H--- do you fix that?
