    thankful I don't throw things away

    Lol. My grandpa NEVER threw things away. He had a couple acres jam packed with old box trailers, FULL, of everything from receipts to cracked engine blocks. It did come in handy for him though haha

    oil cans

    Absolutely everything. We keep a gallon jug around (was once oil) with an oil can oil label on it. And any oil we use, instead of sitting and letting them drain every last drop into whatever, we just stick em in the funnel, let em drain into the jug. works great

    Tips on getting potash

    So Ive got a hay field, bout an acre or so, I had the soil tested cause I couldnt grow anything but weeds. The report said I need roughly 345 lbs of potash per acre.     I was searching govdeals and came cross an 80s deere 318 lawn tractor with a bad engine. It came to mind, that I have a Chrysler, wait, 318. A 318 out of an old van. So I began to think, hey! this could be awesome! Lol. Anybody else think like I do or just me? Haha! -Ben

    what jd tractor you dont have but want ?

    My gosh, waaay too many to list. And cant say off top my head haha! But I remember seeing as a kid a jd a with spoked wheels, and fat tires, but the single tire on the front. (So 1930s I guess), and since then Ive wanted one. or a 730 diesel. Closest Ive got to the a tho was this thing haha!

    Gas in the oil???

    With our equipment if we didnt shut off the gas itd leak in the oil in less than a day. Long as the gas got shut off it was fine though. Tomins got it.
