    Cockshutt 30 on a baler

    My grandfather at one point had a small army of Cockshutt 30s and Co-op E3s. Was always the baking tractor for a IH model 47 wire tie baler pushing 80lb bales. Quite a load! Is there a better sized, possibly smaller baler that would work better for one of these machines? Ive found myself...

    Gas leak

    The sediment bulb is seeping around the threads. Anyone know a good compound or something to use. I tried Teflon tape, guess that is only good for air and water!

    So I should only twist the pull shaft? How much to move from the 17.5 inch to the desired 14? Forward or backward?

    I have the two bottom plow for the Ford 8n. I need to know how to adjust it for my 3600. They are the 14" inch. I have used it on my to30 Ferguson. Without looking I think it is a dearborn 10a.

    Thanks! That?s how I originally had them. Guess I have something else wrong. I?ll try disconnecting the tie rod and see if the cylinder moves in the correct direction.

    Sorry I just stated all that backwards ☹️. Lines are inside on left! Moving outside on right.

    That?s on a 3000? Guess same for 3600. I have top to outside on left side. I?ll move top back to inside on the right.

    Well that didn?t fix problem. All Top lines were on inside fitting of cylinder. I moved them to outside. Can?t turn steering wheel. Any suggestions?

    Just checked mine and both sides has top connected to inside of cylinder! Before change I would like to see a schematic for the 3600.

    If that is the case, I need to know correct orientation. On the 3600 I need to know left side top hose connect to cylinder inside or outside. And same info for right side.

    I just rebuilt my 3600 power steering pump. Put new seal on shaft to stop fluid leaking into crank case. One of the cylinders was leaking so I removed both. Put new seals in and just got everything back on the tractor. Started the tractor with reservoir full, expected turning to be easy...

    What effect do you think a pump with 1100 psi would have. I?m a bit confused about the D8NN3k514EA. It was the original pump but because mine has a badge it isn?t original?

    So you believe the D8NN3K514EA is after market? Yes it was a typo. I saw in an earlier post that same pump was used on a 3600.
