    3020

I don't think a 175 is going to fit. You really need a 148 loader. You stand a good chance to break it because that will be plenty of tractor.

    X 485 Hot Start

Check the fuel line from the tank to the injection pump. Probably cracked or collapsed. Mine did that and it starved it for fuel.

    4320 hours

Should a guy be scared of buying a 12000 hour 4320 with no proof of an overhaul?

    4320 hood

I have been kicking around the idea of a 4320 but the one i am looking has front damage on the hood. (Loader) Is there any new reproduction hoods out there? I have seen 4020 hoods but no 4320 hoods. This tractor has an airstack also. Just seeing what's out there. Thanks

    Value of 4020

Talk to Larry Anderson. He sells a lot of these tractors. He should have a really good handle on what this 4020 is worth.

    chem

Your best bet is to just have the local coop spray it for you or if you have a renter get it from him. I am an applicator and the epa has cracked down on how chemicals are sold. It can be very expensive to the coop if they are caught selling the wrong package size. I.e. 30 oz. Sorry i dont...

I am curious to know how much do the slab weights found on 3020/4020 weigh?

    3020 rockshaft

I seem to be having trouble with my rockshaft on my 1967 3020D. When I lower the rockshaft it labors the tractor as if the load and depth it trying to work even though I do not have it on this setting. I have it set on the depth setting. I am puzzled. Any thoughts or ideas?

    tractor replacement opionions!

Sounds like a 4440 might be the best choice. Very few electronics but still good heat and air

    John Deere 148 loader

I could be wrong but I think the 148/58 came out in the late 70's and went all the way until the early 90's. They were not made to fit the 7800 but would fit a 4455. I am not sure if they were introduced with the 4430. Hope that helps

    4020 4230 tire sizes?

I agree with David G. I have spent many of days cultivating with an eight row cultivator on a 4020 with 18.4/34s. The tires never got me in trouble just operator error.

    Who farms with two cylinders?

I hauled manure with my 70 this spring. I am looking forward to raking and baling hay with it and my 3020 summer
