    Thanks for the reply. At my local John Deere dealer we looked at several options to no avail. I heard there is a guy on face book that rebuilds these, but I can not find him. Might have to try a machine shop to build one.

    Looking for an obsolete part. I am trying to restore 2 quick hitches and need new latches, part # AR27288R (#16) in he parts book. Does anyone know who makes these or where to get them. Any help would be appreciated.

    Deere Identity

    It looks like it for starting hand crank tractors on a 226 corn picker. It is called a ratchet and goes on the tractor flywheel to use a staring handwheel.

    They were used on 720-730 tractors both gas and diesel. That is what I am looking for.

    Does anyone know where a person can get the block off tube, part # AF3236R, for putting an upright air cleaner on a 720-730. Martin Parts and Repair does not have any right now and most of the salvage yards want to keep the whole assembly together. Thanks for any help, Bob

    John Deere 730 gas Thermostat replacement

    When I tried Steiner for mine, they did not have one. They have them for 630's, 730 diesels, but not 730 gas. But they might handle them by now, as it has been a few years.

    Does anyone know what this NOS clutch handle fits on. Roughly 22" long with a bend. I got this from a neighbor friend of mine and we do not know what it fits. I can not find any part number.

    1959 JD 730 dual hydraulic box, where to find couplers for secondary outlets?

    Try Marlin Smith of Pine Valley Farm Equipment in Iowa. He advertises in Green Magazine. Very nice guy. Call at 712-579-9922. Or, for a more simple way, this is what we did on our 730. We also did this on our 620. Just Pioneer ends. The adapter needed is Part #16 on page 36 of a 45 loader...
