    MF 1085 pto brake problem

    8n 12v starter

    i have a 1947 8n. i bought a starter online and it does not work. with it instaled the engine can not be hand cranked. the starter it self either grinds and slowly turns a little or clicks and does not turn at all. might i have the wrong starter? does anyone know what might be wrong?

    Have an electrical problem with a 6610S. It starts and runs fine, but if the head lights are turned on the engine will die. The head lights do not work, but the flashers do work OK. Have replaced the light switch and key switch with no change. All fuses are OK so there is no short in the lights...
