    Yes it does have a "crankcase" but that is for the cam and lifters that operate the plungers. That oil has been changed and fresh oil.     I have been working on my d47u that has been setting probably a year and the rack is stuck. two of the plungers are going up and down and two are stuck up and not returning down.
