    I was also wondering if the head bolt heater someone installed on it could have had anything to do with this? Maybe someone didnt tighten it enough?     We recently took off the head because we found out we had a bad head gasket. I cleaned up the head and I was checking it with a strait edge and a feeler gauge. It turned out to be about .004 at most. I was wondering what is that worst it should be before doing anything with it?

    I have a 47 ford 2n that has been running and starting great, then all of a sudden it seems to flood itselfout when starting hot with the throttle pulled down, choking it will get it to start though. It also starts fine when its all the way up in idle postion. I checked the ignition switch...

    I am told the engine is not stuck, but my great grandpa also says that the owners will not see it cheap. They are the type that if they know you want something they will charge alot of money or sell it to someone else before they will you. So I dont think its going to be easy to get.
