    As part of remedying problems for a 1941 9N which stopped running and would not start, including a blown head gasket, and subsequent cracked block, I tore into the front mount distributor.     couple free parts

    Hi- In the attached photo, is the just-bought-by-me 180 degree thermostat oriented correctly for installation in the hose? Also, when that or any thermostat is closed, where does the coolant go? Sorry for the dumb question, but... I presume it circulates around the engine block? Thanks.
