    Update! We got it lose this evening! With the help of a come along and a couple of smacks on the flywheel she popped right off! Will be taking a look at the seal tomorrow and getting it replaced. It got dark on us. Thanks everyone!

    we've tried several of these methods and the flywheel is still stuck on there solid. anyone else have any more suggestions? We have even tried using a come along and chained it to a tree and carefully put pressure on the chain to pull the flywheel towards the tree. nothing....

    We will try the above suggestions using wood blocks to wedge up inbetween the flywheel and engine. I'll post later how we got along for anyone else viewing this thread to let them know how it went for us. Thanks guys!
