    disk brakes

    A 50 massey harris or 50 massey ferguson ag tractors never had disc brakes whether gas or diesel. The newer 50 Industrial would have disc brakes. I suspect someone bolted a 65 and 50 together.

    MF 175 missing wires

    If your tractor has live PTO with 2 stage clutch then yes in essence the clutch must be working or you will not have power to the lift pump or pto. A service manual would be of great value to you if you are trying to repair this tractor. Remember this is a 2 stage clutch with 2 separate clutch...
