    Agree Its the remains of a vac mounted plow that could be made to cut 12 or 14 in per bottom. Dad had one . Used it but it didnt work too well on contour fields on hills.

    i would consider getting a brass or carbon piece same thickness as keyway an weld flaked area an with patience with grinder an file make it fit . I assume keyway is what it flaking.Bet hubs isent 100% eighter.

    Its a shouldered bolt whose purpose is to perfectly line up both engine an transmisssion. There is no bushing involved.It is a tight acurate fitting bolt.Must have been lost as it will not fit anywhere else.

    If you remove water manifold as soneone else mentioned in earlier posts an start tractor for short time yoou can isolate 2 cylinders where compression leak is at. Than you only need to remove that head an anylise where leak is --cracked head-gasket or sleve might have cracked at counterbore...

    other senerio is the pump has been mounted incorectly .If dampener is correct than pump is not mounted corectly an will have to be removed- crankshaft set to 32degres an pump installed with scribe marks lined up.Sounds like one or other is your problem.I think only way to make sure dampner...
