Model S tractors "never" had a Old Abe decal on any of the S series production tinwork,{like the D/LA /VA"s gas tank area ]Some of the repro decals have included this decal for over 30 years. Put the decal on your JD buddies toolbox or somthin.

Thanks,Don L. I have got into a few discussions w/ people that say that if the decal is in the set , it has to be used. Even tho the tractor never had it on from the factory.
One of the perks of being an "old Timer" , seeing these tractors new from the factory.

Glad others remember that. I got one of mine on rear pick up window an other one on hutch window in kitchen so i see it every day while i eat!!!!
