    I have a massey 44 that was converted to 12 volt. I need a new regulator and cant find any that look similar. Can anybody suggest one that will work?

    1650 govenor ?

    Thanks for the replies. I just got a manual and it shows how to adjust under high speed load and idle mixture. I will give it a shot, I just did'nt think it was the carb because it would run so good.

    1650 govenor?

    I just did a tune up on my 1650. The tractor runs great, except under a heavy load. When plowing I would have to use 1st gear, and when it got into some heavy soil it would backfire and almost stop running. Any thoghts. If it is the govenor where could I get one? thanks Chris

    I just did a tune pu on my 1650. The tractor runs great except when under a heavy load. It would backfire and loose power. I had to plow in 1st gear. It has a marvel carb. Any thoughts if its the govenor and where I can get one?
