    656 ta problem

    The ta will only down shift under a load. If baling hay and pull the ta to slow down the lever will pull back like normal but it doesn't shift down. If you push the brakes and put a little load on then it shifts down. It doesn't slip. What could be the problem? Thanks for any help.

    Have a 986 with I believe a 1586 pto unit. Rebuilt pto . It has 230 psi wide open engaged. 220 psi at idle. Sometimes it will disengage on it's own at idle. How do I adjust the pressure up?
