    MF 205 industrial

    Update: Pulled the starter and it checked out okay on the bench. Put a bar on the ring gear and the engine won?t budge. Looks like a part out.

    Thanks for the response. I just read that there is a neutral safety switch that will disable the starter. I’ll first try jumping around the solenoid and see what happens. Hopefully it will something simple.

    I just acquired MF 205 with a loader and backhoe. It has been sitting for for a few years. I read on the forum that it can’t be pull started. The starter will not turn over the engine. I can’t find a good way to check if the Diesel engine is stuck. Any suggestions?

    Wisc VE4 with Rockford Clutch

    Thanks for the info. The VE4 is one of the few manuals I don't have. I pulled out an old VH4 manual and It has the clutch listed. It looks like yoke slides off the clutch assembly.

    Is a plow frog a left frog if it turns the soil to the left and a right frog if it throws the soil to the right? What direction does a one way plow throw? I have only ever used a 2-way IH 314.
