    Thanks. Wanted to make sure. On a new tractor, did they paint the hoses green when they painted the tractor? I think they look better with black hoses, but see a lot of hoses with Green paint in places that a second paint job wouldn?t reach.

    Working at painting a 4840. All of our other 40 series tractors have a green fan shroud. This one is green plastic, but the shroud has really old black paint. Which is correct. Side screens are green like they are supposed to be. Trying to make it look as original as possible.

    Okay thanks, I was kinda leaning that may be the case. So you are saying that the pto doesn't have a brake to hold it when you turn it off with the hydraulic valve.
