I have an Oliver 88 style head with a casting number of 1K180. Can anyone tell me if it’s for a 88 or super 88? Thanks

Pulling a motor on a fleetline with radiator intact

I was looking to swap out an old engine with another, has anyone pulled out the engine with radiator still connected to engine and removed as an assembly? did you strap it? or is this not advisable? Thanks

New to me Oliver but needs Qork.

Yes It looks like a oliver 550, if you need to order vavles, etc, you will want to check the casting number on the head to ensure correct parts are obtained. That should be a 180602 head but some of the earlier 550 heads maybe 180502.

Oliver 66 disc brake conversion or factory

Sorry for the confusion. I guess I have a two part question. 1. Did the 66 ever leave the factory with disc brakes? 2 if I have a late model 66 I was wondering if it was one of the last 66 coming off the assembly line is it possible Oliver 66 left factory with a super rear end as they ran...

Oliver 66 disc brake conversion or factory

Did any Oliver 66 fleetlines leave the factory with disc brakes or were they converted in the field? I know super 66 had disc but was not sure about 66. If the later model 66 used disc brakes is that rear end the same as a super?

    Oliver 77 Engine and Modifications

I am sure someone can help you with block numbers, But it sounds like you do not have a super motor. I believe the late model fleet lines started having Tach drive/hour meter plate below distributor. The biggest oversize bore is a 3.75. If you go any bigger you would need to machine the block...

I need to replace the clutch and resurface the flywheel, is it easier to pull the engine or remove Bell housing in place and remove flywheel. I don’t have a side belt pulley. Thanks

I believe it’s almost exactly 100 lbs. This is for shaft, housing, cover, clutch etc. I have each piece written down and I think it might be 96 lb. let me know if you need exact weight and I can get it for you.

Oliver 770 Bull gears diffrent teeth count?

Does the bull gears from an Oliver 770 have the same teeth count as a Oliver 77 and super 77? I believe that part numbers are different just not sure about the teeth count. My research has conflicting info. Thanks
